Roland ProMars Compuphonic

The ProMars was introduced in 1979 as a monophonic version of the Jupiter 4. It featured two oscillators per voice and two filters; a simple high-pass with a cutoff frequency between 40Hz and 5kHz and a low-pass filter from the 20Hz to 20kHz range with LFO modulation & ADSR.

The ProMars was the first synth to include microprocessor control. Using a primitive  processor to control the analog VCOs, VCAs, and VCFs.

Roland ProMars Softsynth

The PROMARS PLUG-OUT Software Synthesizer is a complete reproduction of the rare and powerful PROMARS synthesizer first released in 1979. With two detunable VCOs and two sub-oscillators per voice, the PROMARS is easily one of the most deep and rich sounding monosynths ever created. Designed for SYSTEM-1 as well as Mac and PC hosts, the new PROMARS uses Analog Circuit Behavior to faithfully recreate every detail of the incredibly warm, dense sound of the original
